Isabelle, aka “Izzy,” is my niece’s daughter and the first of her generation in my family. She is a delightful child and from the very beginning I knew I had to create a series of children’s books in her name. Thus far, three books have been created as birthday and Christmas books, “Izzy Eats A Rainbow,” “Izzy Counts a Farm,” and “Izzy Gets a Job”. All are illustrated in watercolor. Below are most of the illustrations used in the books.
Izzy & levon Imagination Adventures
And along came Levon! Yes, he’s Izzy’s little brother. And, of course, a new series of books needed to be created. Izzy and Levon explore the world. Thus far, three books follow their imagination adventures, “Izzy & Levon Go On A Safari,” “Izzy and Levon Hike the National Parks” and “Izzy and Levon Explore the Oceans.” While on their imaginary adventures, Izzy and Levon learn about many different animals, illustrated with vibrant acrylics or watercolor.
Broccoli for Breakfast
My niece, Bethany Sexton, writes children’s books with a message. For her latest venture, she wrote about a child with a serious food allergy, known as F-PIES.
I agreed to help Bethany bring the story to life through watercolor and acrylic pen illustrations. Most of the illustrations used in the book are presented below.
“Broccoli for Breakfast” is available through Beaver’s Pond Press. www.BeaversPondPress.com.

Here is a sampling of the greeting cards that I have created.
